I’ve always dibble dabbled in different niches within the photography scene. As of this year I decided to *brand myself* as a wedding photographer, meaning I had to curate my social sites to reflect that. With that change, some may ask, do I still work events outside of weddings or couples sessions and the answer is YES!
Corporate events have quickly become an enjoyable niche for me. With the variety of scenes and subjects, candid interactions and group photos, I’m really able to challenge my creativity and step outside of my usual photography space. This for me is exciting because the dynamic photo opportunities at these types of events help me practice and perfect my craft.
In order to create a space for me to showcase my work outside of weddings I’ve decided to share blog posts of it from time to time. So here’s my first and it won’t be my last. Take a trip through my lens with me to the ITG Brands Grand Opening in Greensboro and their Community Day that was hosted on-site. We took headshots of key team members, including President of the company, Kim Reed. Have a look!
